Delete Your BangerPrep Data
Last updated: 19 October 2026
You can request deletion of your BangerPrep account and the personal data associated with it. Requests are handled privately and require identity verification to prevent someone else from deleting your account.
Request deletion by email
- Email ljones140@gmail.com with the subject BangerPrep data deletion request.
- State which provider you use to sign in: Google, GitHub, or Facebook.
- Send the request from the email address associated with your BangerPrep account where possible.
- Complete any reasonable identity-verification step requested in reply.
Do not send passwords, OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, or identity documents.
Request deletion through Facebook
- Open Facebook and go to Settings & privacy, then Settings.
- Open Apps and Websites.
- Select BangerPrep and remove the app.
- Open the removed apps and websites section, select BangerPrep, and choose Send Request if that option is shown.
Removing BangerPrep from Facebook stops future Facebook access. Sending a deletion request also asks for the corresponding BangerPrep account data to be deleted.
What will be deleted
The deletion covers the account profile held by BangerPrep, active authentication sessions, connected-service credentials, playlists owned by the account, and personal participation records associated with the account. Shared groups or gigs may require reassignment or removal so that other members' data remains consistent.
What may remain
Limited information may be retained when required by law, to protect the service from fraud or abuse, or in temporary backups that expire through normal operation. Information that is retained is no longer used to provide an active account.
Confirmation
You will receive confirmation at the private contact used for the request after it has been verified and processed. If more information is needed, you will be contacted before deletion proceeds.
Public issues are not deletion requests
Do not place your email address or other personal data in a public GitHub issue. The public issue tracker is only for bugs and feature requests.
